Reader..

I have been using Google Reader as my RSS Aggregator since it came out as a beta product from Google Labs.
Google have updated the UI of the Reader into a New design today, which looks cool and almost the same as the ones which can be installed on a Desktop.
Google Reader is really nice tool, which helps you to Subscribe for various Feeds and receive them as and when they are updated. For example, I subscribe to Orablogs Feed, which gives me various articles written by some Oracle Techgurus and help me to be updated on the Oracle techfront. Another is the Planet Kannada Feed, using which I can read through all the Online Articles published in many kannada blogs.

One can even Subscribe to News Feeds and get updated news as and when they happen.

ಹೂಗಳ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣ್ಣ ಹೊಗಳುವರು;

Calvin...

I think Comics are one of the best freinds every school going Kid. I too grew up by reading various comics like Tintin, Adventures of Phantom, Magician Mandrake or some kannada comics like Raman, puttikathe etc... But the one which Outclassed all these was and is and 'll be always Calvin and Hobbes. I'm also one of the countless people who have been inadvertant fans of CnH.

Calvin & Hobbes was published for around 10 years by Bill Waterson. Art and Humour apart, I was awed by the depth in Vocab used in these strips. Even today I refer back to the dictionary to get the meaning of some words. I feel the sense of humour varies from being very subtle, like day dreaming, bath tub, to sometimes very complex, like the ones where he talks about civilization, values of existance, Transmogrifier and other stuff. I could associate many strips with my childhood incidents.

Check this link 25 Great Calvin and Hobbes Strips, in a way it summarizes the whole series, but truly each and every Calvin strip is great.
